| Week 1 Player Rankings |
1.
Carmelo Anthony - Carmelo is clearly the player of the week after leading the Denver Nuggets to a 3-0 start. Carmelo opened the season with a 30 point, 5 assist 8 rebounding outing. He followed that up with two games above 40 points. His 37.7 points per game lead the league.
2.
Chris Bosh - CB4 has added some bulk and he is beasting on the boards. His Toronto Raptors started the season with an upset over Lebron's Cavs and he grabbed 16 rebounds to help them. He followed that with a 37 point 12 rebound effort, and a 35 point 16 rebound effort. His team is 1-2 but Bosh is playing very well.
3.
Dwyane Wade - D-Wade has led the Miami Heat to a 3-0 start while continuing to put up big scoring numbers. He is averaging 27.7 points 1.7 steals and 4 assist to start the season.
4.
Kobe Bryant - With Pau Gasol out the Lakers have needed Kobe to score more. He opened the season with 33 points, 4 steals, and 8 rebounds against the Clippers. In a game against the Hawks he posted 42 points, 5 steals, and 8 rebounds. If you thought Artest would lead to a numbers dip for Kobe, guess again.
5. 
Lebron James - Although the Cavs are off to a 2-2 start Lebron James has been filling up the stat sheet. He opened the season with 38 points, 4 blocks, 2 steals, and 8 assist. He followed that with the NBA's first triple double of the season, 23 points, 12 assist, 11 rebounds. That was the two losses, in the wins he put up 24 points, 6 assist, 9 rebounds and 14 points, 9 assist, 7 rebounds, against lower level teams. Despite the record, his contributions can't be denied. |
